Office 2003 Automated Install

Hi

I've read about using RIS and GPOs as a way of installing Office 2003 to
multiple machines but I do not know what happens to the existing product
that is installed...Office XP.

Can anyone point me to an resources that may assist me? I want to automate
the removal of the previous product if possible at the time I perform the
installation using RIS.
