Office 2003 beta 2 technical refresh install fails

I've downloaded opsetup.exe but when I try to install it it tries to
allocate space on my CD-ROM drive which of course is impossible.
I've also tried the web-update but this fails as well (no error message...
just that it fails)

Any help out there ?

Have you tried using the custom installation and pointing the installation
files to a hard drive rather than your CD?
