Office 2003 beta client components for SharePoint Portal Server

Jim

After the last Office'03 beta technical refresh, I get
the following when I try to connect to Sharepoint Portal
Server 2001: "To connect to a backward-compatible
document library, you must install the client components
of the document library component for Microsoft Office
SharePoint Port Server 2004".

My problem is that I have not been able to find these
components on the Microsoft website after numerous
searches. We don't plan to upgrade to the Sharepoint
2003 beta for at least another 6 weeks.

Any ideas on where to find these components?

Hi Jim,

My understanding is that you can locate the
the client components on the SPS 2003 CD in the Office 2003
Beta CD set and install them for all clients that installed
Office 2003 that need to connect to an older SPSv1 portal.
