office 2003 calendar

I have micro office 2003. when an appt. on my calendar came due a reminder
pop up would automatically appear anytime I booted up my desktop. My hard
drive crashed and had to reinstall a new drive. When I reinstalled office
calendar it no longer popped up a reminder icon on the desktop when I booted
up. How can I get the calendar to pop up a reminder to my desktop again??

can you provide a link or instructions on how to put outlook in my startup
menu?

In the Start, Programs menu, MS Office, r-click drag and drop MS Outlook
onto the Startup folder in Programs, pick Create Shortcut here.
