Office 2003 - Can't uninstall updates.

I had 2007 trial on vista & installed office 2003 as we wished to use that
not 2007. All was fine until the trial time ran out on 2007 which by that
time had dominated all office settings on computer. Uninstalled 2007 plus
2003 then run the msclean uninstall tool. Re installed office 2003. When
trying to install service pk 3 was told by windows it was installed. This SP3
shows in installed programs but can not be uninstalled. The entries have
remained listed in installed programs listing but as not effective. How do I
delete these entries so as to be able to install all relevant updates for
office 2003? Sorry but I do not like Office 2007. Can anyone help me
please????

Your mistake was installing Office 2003 without first uninstalling the trial
version
What do you refer to as MSclean Uninstall Tool, was it the windows installer
clean up utility?

And do you have a restore point for prior to installing Office sp3, or
indeed prior to installing Office 2003?

Yes I fully realise that now. But a bit too late to change it now. Just wish
I had known then what I know now *sigh*. as to a restore point that was when
we fist got the computer over 6 months ago now there are also no restore
points prior to April '09 that I can find. I do not like Office 2007 and
prefer Office 2003.
Sorry yes it was the installer clean up utility that I used. Would it be
best to completely uninstall 2003 and start again? The problem is that my
partner needs the computer regularly for presentations and has slowed down
the process of getting this issue resolved.
