Office 2003-can't update; can't find SKU112.CAB file

Tried to install Office 2003 updates because I couldn't open a Powerpoint presentation sent to my Outlook email. Tried to install updates and now can't open any Office programs. I have XP Pro & when I tried to download updates or reinstall Office from disc, message is "required installation file SKU112.CAB can't be found." What is that & how do I find it? Would prefer not to try installing full version of updates/patches, but can't get into Office programs & can't reinstall. This is single user home computer, with semi-literate user...

I found the SKu112.CAB file. It's WinZip, an evaluation version. Also didn't mention my office 2003 is the Student/Teacher version. Don't know what I can do to WinZip file to make the Office CD recognize it. Also wonder if Student/Teacher version is a problem. I had no problem downloading updates on other XP Pro system w/ Office 2003 Student version
I don't even know what I don't know! Help
