Office 2003 compatibility with older office versions

Does anyone know if there is a white paper that documents
issues such as Powerpoint 2000 users can't view some of
the new formatting in Powerpoint 2003? Rather than
stumble across these things piece meal it would be nice to
find MS put together a comprehensive list.
Thanks,
Diane

I'm not aware of such a thing, but that doesn't mean one doesn't exist.

Post in the PPT newsgroup, and I'm sure you'll receive some answers there.

An easy way to cover it would be to set the Save Options to 2000
version.(Tools, options, Save. I believe)

Mmm, it wouldn't be the Save options, it would be mmmm, nuts -- on the Edit
tab, maybe?

Nah, I think it's under Tools/Autocorrect, maybe. No, that's not right,
either! (Can you tell I'm not at a machine with PPT 2002 or 2003 on it right
now? <g>)

Anyway, *somewhere* in Tools, there's are three options -- new
transitions/animations, multiple masters, and password protection. Those are
the ones the original poster would want to deselect.
