office 2003 & CUSTOM.DIC

O

office user

Hello!

I've just upgraded to Office 2003 from Office XP. The CUSTOM.DIC file
"transfered" to office 2003 and all the entries are there. I can see the
entries using a text editor. When it comes to spell-checking, words I know
that exist there appear as misspelled. When I click on "modify" button
(Tools \ Options \ Spelling & Grammar \ Custom Dict (button)) nothing
appears for custom.dic.

I tried to create a new custom dictionary and entered there the entries
from the original one. Nothing! Any ideas how can i resolve this one?

Thank you in advance...

The custom dictionaries are language code specific.
You may want to check with the folks in the Word
Spelling and Grammar newsgroup (link below) on
this and verify the location of the custom.dic file
