Hello all,
I am creating a transform file for the install of Office 2003 using the
Custom Installation Wizard. Within the wizard you are allowed to change the
default location where pst files are saved. It is indicated in the wizard
that you are able to use environment variables, such as %USERPROFILE% so
that the full path would be %USERPROFILE%\My Documents. However, once I
install Office using the transform, Outlook does not translate the
%USERPROFILE% into c:\Documents and Settings\username\My Documents. This
breaks the cached copy feature of Outlook 2003. Anyone run into this issue,
or have any workarounds to try? The default location is ....username\local
settings\Microsoft\Outlook... and this does not break the cached copy
feature.
Thanks!
Brian
