Office 2003 desktop icons

The new Office 2003 icons do not 'stick' on my desktop.
The old Office 2000 icons appear instead. I can force them
to appear by using the TWEAKUI reair icons feature, but
they change back after log out and log in. I'm sure it is
a registry setting, but I haven't been able to discover it
yet. It happens in all logons. The icons
in 'quicklaunch'and start menu appear correctly.

Try using Detect and Repair and elect to reinstall all shortcuts when you
do.

Just be careful with this. You may need to Detect and Repair Microsoft Office 2003 after you use it and NEVER use it on something which you have not Add\Remove Uninstalled first.

You'll be looking to see if you have a Microsoft Office 2000 installation database.
