Office 2003: Disable IRM?

Does anyone know if or how to disable Information Rights
manager in Office 2003?

We do not yet have this deployed, only testing it but
have already stumbled into IRM issues. We do not wish to
enable this, setup an RMS server to authenticate it, nor
do we wish to use Microsoft's .NET locale to authenticate
users in IRM. We just don't want it, period. Any help
would be appreciated! Thanks...
