Office 2003 Documentation

Steve

Hello All,

I'm trying to find out some specific information about
documentation for Office 2003 (single-user edition).

1) Do any text-based documents come with the product (eg:
User Guide, Primer, etc)? If so, how many pages in each?

2) Do any electronic documents come with the product
itself (eg: html-based, PDFs, etc)

3) Is an internet connection required to access program-
based help? In other words, is help installed on the
user's system or does Microsoft require an internet
connection to their site?

4) Finally, does the product ship with any tutorials?

Many, many thanks for any specific information!

Hi, Steve,

1. No.
2. No, nothing other than the readme type installation files. No user
guides.
3. No. There is both offline and online help content that comes with the
product. If you are offline, you can still view useful (if not the most
recent) help.
4. I'm not sure, but I don't think so. You might want to call Microsoft's
800 number to find out for sure--it will be a free call to speak with a
sales representative who can tell you what documentation resources are
available to you.
