Can SP1 for Office 2003 be obtained on a CD? My dial up is slow.............

I have searched the downloads site and can't find a link.

I suspect the answer is yes, but not today. Check:

or go to:

http://office.microsoft.com/officeupdate/default.aspx

and check ordering updates on CD at the bottom.

In US the updates on CD are free {suspect plus shipping}. However,
Microsoft has not posted a order form for Office 2003 SP-1 yet. It has only
been available for download for a few days.

Yes, we will be creating CDs of the service pack, but we actually do that
after we release it on the web. It takes a while for the CDs to get through
the manufacturing process so I would expect them sometime in early October.
I know that sounds like a long time from now. I hope this isn't too much of
an inconvenience for you.

That's a good question. Each individual subsidiary handles the decision on
what CDs to make available and how they get distributed. I can't tell for
sure what country you are from, but usually there will be a phone number for
you to call and request a CD on your countries web pages. They can tell you
what the particular terms of obtaining the CD are. I hope this helps.
