Office 2003 for Home Users

I've read several articles stating that Microsoft is
allowing home users to install up to 3 copies of 1 Office
2003 System for home use only. Can someone confirm this?

It is the Student's and Teacher's Edition and you still have to qualify as a
parent of a student or student.

Hi,
Yes you can install on two computers, one a desktop and another a laptop, as a regular user. More details can be found at

http://www.microsoft.com/office/editions/prodinfo/faq.mspx

I have cut/pasted the appropriate question below.

Q. How many times can I install Office 2003 Editions?
A. Twice. You can install one copy of Office 2003 Editions on your main computer and another on your laptop computer for your exclusive, but non-
concurrent use. You can work with Office 2003 Editions at your desk and when mobile. To install a version of Office 2003 Editions on more than these two
devices, you must obtain another license for the program. Note Licenses for the 2003 release of Office acquired preinstalled on new computers are single-
computer licenses that cannot be transferred or installed on another computer.

For a teacher or student, you can buy the "Office Student and Teacher Edition 2003" for non-commercial use. You can find more details at:
http://www.microsoft.com/office/editions/howtobuy/student.mspx

I am closing this issue as resolved. Please reopen if you believe that this question has not been answered.

Thanks.
