I am getting a windows install popup.
after doing it 5 times, I am able to log on.<

Last time I had that problem in turned out to be
a bad RAM memory module which was
corrupting the install. You can download
a free memory test program from the Microsoft
website. It creates a self-booting floppy which
runs 8 different tests on installed memory.
Often identifies which memory stick is bad.
