Office 2003 Intallation

Mr. Morales

I bought the Office 2003 with the possibility to instal
in three home computers. I installed Office on two of
them, but one of them the HD got busted. Got a new one,
if I install it again will I loose the third license
included in my copy of Office 2003?

Mr. Morales

The Retail version of Office 2003 - does not allow you to install to 3 PCs.
The retail licensing is for one license for one computer. The exception is
you are also allowed to install your one copy on a Laptop that you are the
user of, so that you are either using your desktop PC or you laptop - not
both simultaneously.
You certainly may not use a retail product to install to 3 PCs. You will
require to purchase 2 additional copies of Office 2003 - one for each PC.

Unless the retail copy is the Office 2003 Student and Teachers Edition
which allows for installing on 3 computers or devices in your
household. :)

Indeed - we need the Original Poster to confirm the product they are using.

(Mike, you might try answering the original question.)
Regardless of the edition of Office, when Microsoft thinks that you've
run out or activation's, the worst that will happen is that you'll have
to activate by phone and explain the situation. In your case, assuming
that you have the Students and Teachers edition, you will be able to
activate on a total of three PCs.
