Office 2003 -- MS-DOS Text with Layout

Hi,

I have a Word document and I want to save it to a text file
programmatically, but it loses it's formating. In Office XP and
below, I used "MS-DOS Text with Layout", but that converter doesn't
appear to be available in Office 2003, is there an alternative or a
way to install that converter?

Nano:

Don't think that that converter has been offered subsequent to Office 97.
When you upgrade previous Office installations, the older converters are not
removed so that's probably how you still had access to it in Xp.
