Hi.
Does anyone know what features of new Office require network access
(Intranet or Internet)? I am trying to do a quick check to configure a
firewall to ensure Office 2003 (full installation) perfectly with proper
firewall's program rules. A short howto guide for a quick test would be
nice since I only know the basics of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Or
better does MS have information on what ports each components need?
I currently know these things:
1. Activation
2. All products with Web browser component like in Word, Excel, etc.
3. Access through network for database.
4. Infopath
5. Publisher
6. Outlook for e-mails.
I am sure there are more! Thank you in advance.
