I actually have 2 issues.
#1. Word 2003 - I have a user that works on many documents from a network
share that others also use and edit. Some documents he does not seem to have
any problems with, but others when he tries to open them, it will pop up then
close and when he tries to reopen it will open the document in recovery mode.
His OS is XP pro with SP2 and all the updates. His Office 2003 also has all
the Sp & updates installed. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the
Office software.
#2. Excel 2003 - I have another user that is also working with documents
from a network share. She is able to open them, but the cut & paste feature
will not work, nor will it allow her to save the edited document. She is
also runnning XP pro with SP2 and all the updates. And I have also
uninstalled the office software, etc.
I have checked their network security on the server and for the individual
folders they are accessing but that is all fine. I would appreciate if
anyone has any ideas!!!
