Office 2003/Office 2007 on PC

Sue

I am a corporate trainer of Microsoft Office programs. Because I teach both
Office 2003 and Office 2007 classes, IT loaded both versions on the same
computer. (Many in our organization are still using Office 2003.) I am
struggling with opening files created in 2003. Is there a way to set the
default to always open in the 2003 version rather than 2007? Excel is
especially slow. I am opening the files off of my drives from My Computer.
Thanks!
