Office 2003 or XP Pro on new PC with Vista 64 bit OS?

My old PC is running XP with Office 2003 Pro on it (or maybe Office XP Pro?).
Anyways, its a 2003 version of Office. I'm going to purchase a new PC for my
daughter but I hear horror stories about Vista and Office Home & Student
2007. Can I load my non-OEM version of Office 2003 onto a new PC running
Vista 64 bit OS?

And if so, are there hoops I need to jump thru first to get it to work?... I
have the 2003 disk with the key code....

However, the EULA may not "authorize" that type of install. A retail (FPP)
install of Office permits one device install. That would be your computer.
It also permits installation onto a "portable device" which would be a
laptop but the EULA continues on to say "for the exclusive use by the
primary user of the first copy of the software." So letting the daughter
use it would be a violation of the license agreement.

The actual text is:

1. GRANT OF LICENSE. Microsoft grants you the following rights provided
that you comply with all terms and conditions of this EULA:

1.1 Installation and use. You may:

(a) install and use a copy of the Software on one personal computer or
other device; and

(b) install an additional copy of the Software on a second, portable
device for the exclusive use of the primary user of the first copy of the
Software.
