office 2003 password prompt event

I'm developing an Office 2003 add-in which needs to process a document
before it reaches the "enter password" prompt, but I can't find the
event to do this. I've tried various events in the Word application
object (ActivateWindow, DocumentOpen), but they happen after the
password prompt arises. Any advice?
