Office 2003 Picture Manager MRU

How do you go about clearing the MRU (recently browsed)
list from the Picture Manager program in 2003?

I don't like this feature at all and wish to turn it off or
at least know how to clean it up periodically.

Thanks
Andy

Hi Andy,

Yeah, you have to be careful with the
'recently browsed' list in Picture Manager.
Unfortunately, unlike other items in the
listing in the Picture Shortcuts Pane are
the actual folder listings and there isn't
a 'remove shortcut' for those on the right
click menu, only a true 'delete'.

To clear the MRU locate a file on your PC
named OISCatalog.CAG and open it in Notepad.
It's an XML file and you're find a tag for
<MRU path>. Backup the file, then delete that
line, close it then start Picture Manager.

Thanks for that - I've just spent ages searching for this
post after remembering I posted it ages ago.

Cheers
