Office 2003 Policy templates compatibility

Hi
I am preparing a outlook client for deployment in a large
organisation and the management wish to deploy outlook
2003 before users and PC are migrated to Exchange 2003 and
AD.
My Question is:
Are Office 2003 Policy templates compatible with Windows
NT server ?
Does the settings in the Office 2003 Policy templates work
when the templates are "published" through a policy file
on a Windows NT PDC/BDC.
The clients are running windows 2000.
