Office 2003 Pro Activation

I have the Office 2003 Pro Home Use Program installed on my desktop.
I then installed it on my laptop, but could not activate it on 2 machines. I
thought I could as it is my exclusive laptop per the EULA.

I then uninstalled 2003 and installed Office XP Pro. However, every time I
open a document, the Office 2003 activation screen pops up and tells me I
must activate the product.

How do I either activate 2003 on my laptop or get rid of the 2003 activation
to use Office XP normally?

The Home Use EULA states one activation on one computer per home user.

Note that the Home Use license is not the same as a Retail or other
license, and you don't have the option to install the software on a
second computer.

You should check with the employer that provided the software under the
Home Use license to resolve your addtional activation problems.
