Office 2003 Pro and French???

Thru Office updates I install a bunch of French Language updates. I only
speak English! Anyway, now I cannot get Office (Word) to not default to
French. I tried the Language Tool in Programs> Office > Tools. I check region
and language in Control Panel. Is this a NEW bug?

Are you also using Adobe 7? If you are then there is a known issue
with the Adobe 7 add-in that discards any changes you make to
Normal.dot. When you click the "Default" command in the Language
dialog box that's where the setting is stored.

In order to workaround this issue either hold Shift and go to
File/Save All to force a manual save of Normal.dot or remove the Adobe
add-in from Word.
