Office 2003 pro installation over office 2000 pro

Hello,

I am about to install office 2003 pro over office 2000 pro. Do I have to
uninstall 2000 pro first ? In that case will my outlook mailboxes files will
be safely kept and migrated toward outlook 2003 ?
