OFFICE 2003 Pro Unable to Open Docs

I cannot open any .doc, .ppt, .xls through office 2003.
this happened over night. I have tried "Detect and
Repair" and it didnt work. i have tried to uninstall and
reinstall WORD, POWERPOINT, EXCEL through the setup.exe.
I have also tried to "repair/Modify" through setup.exe.
still same problem. I can't uninstall and reinstall the
software because our company only has 10 user keys and if
i reinstall we cant get the last one back.
the error msg i recieve apon attemps to open docs are:
Excel: "The file cannot be opened because your virus
scanner has detected a problem with the file."
Word: "The file 'file_name.doc'is not available."
Powerpoint: "PowerPoint can't read 'file_name.ppt'."
This happens with all files on my machine... HELP!?!
