office 2003 professional academic

The office 2003 student & teacher edition comes with
licenses for 3 pcs. My question is, does the office 2003
professional academic license come the same 3 pc license?
I have found the pro version on multiple online retailers,
such as newegg, but not in stores. The basic version
states the "3 license" on the front of the box, but an
image of the professional version at newegg does not state
such, just listing "academic license".

Thanks for any info,
David

IIRC, the Academic licence is only available through a recognised
institution (e.g your school, college or university), whereas you can walk
into your local Dixons and pick up the STE off the shelf. The former, I
believe, is subject to the same licensing restrictions as the retail
licences (i.e. one desktop and one laptop) but the advantage is that you can
purchase all flavours (the STE is Standard only). I'm sure Bob will correct
me if I'm wrong though.
