Office 2003 Professional runs slow and locks up

Outlook runs in an enterprise environment. It will open fine, after opening
a couple of messages it starts to run slow and eventually locks up. All
other Office applications run fine, it's just Outlook. Outlook has been
uninstalled and re-installed with no difference.
