Office 2003 professional SP2 Post update problem

After successfully updating office 2003 pro to SP2, I cannot keep the changed
page margins.
I commit the change in "Page Setup", press the "Default" button, and select
"Yes".

When I start Word the next time, the original default values have returned.

I checked the Normal.dot, and it is not read-only.

Any Ideas? Thanks in advance.

Hi Rick,

If you turn on the [x] prompt for changes to Normal
in Tools=>Options=>Save are you prompted after changing
the default page margins?

If you're running Adobe Acrobat's Add-in for Word be sure
you've updated it or turn it off. The original v7.0 add-in
prevented changes to Normal.dot sticking.
