Office 2003 programs hang when printing

I can't print any file from Word 2003 or excell 2003. The programs hang. I
tried reinstalling office 2003, and installed office 2003 SP1. but same
problem. I have scanned for viruses with Norton Anti-virus 2003 but no virus
found
