I'm currently running One Note and share point designer 2007 and
office 2003 (Word, ppt, Excel, project, Access, Info path, publisher,
visio...) I've been noticing that its been slow to open all office
files. By slow I mean 2-3 mins! These files are local and free of
complicated graphics. While poking around in the Microsoft office
sessions event viewer I found messages like this:
Event Type: Information
Event Source: Microsoft Office 12 Sessions
Event Category: None
Event ID: 7000
Date: 02/12/2009
Time: 5:13:07 PM
User: N/A
Description:
ID: 13, Application Name: Microsoft Office One Note, Application
Version: 12.0.6316.5000, Microsoft Office Version: 12.0.4518.1014.
This session lasted 3259 seconds with 0 seconds of active time. This
session ended normally.
Word is looking for someting in One note for a long time, and failed
out gracefully, Thank Goodness! I've looked around for an answer for
this and haven't found one. If any one can make a suggestion i would
really appreciated it.
