office 2003 service pack 2 (english) fail to install 3 times now?

Have tried to install office 2003 service pack 2 but it starts and the fails.
no reasons given. have tried 3 times now.

Hi Pete,

What method did you use to obtain the SP2? (i.e. MS Update
notification, Officeupdate, or direct download then run)

From Start=>Run type in %temp%.
In the folder that brings up are there any .LOG files that have
a date/time of when you tried to install SP2? If so there may be,
depending on where the update failed, an MSIxxx.LOG and or an
Ohotfix.log file. They're text files that should contain an
error message on what file the update failed on.

What Office 2003 products are listed in Add/Remove programs in
the Windows Control panel?
