"Office 2003 Service Pack 3 (SP3)" was not installed

My computer automatically downloaded the Ofice SP3 update and cannot install
it. The error message says:
Some updates could not be installed
The following updates were not installed
Office 2003 Service Pack 3 (SP3)

I have same problem. I went so far as to buy a disk from Microsoft for this
update but this does not install either. I get same error messages as Mr
Wizard. Help please

Sorry about this multiple posting, I'm new to this. 2nd message is the
