Office 2003 SKU011.cab

SKU011.cab

I have a used laptop w\ Office 2003. I would like to remove some or all of
the software due to limited drivespace. But unforunately I don't have the
CDs. The software was obviously installed over a network server and not
directly of a CD"D:\". But anyway it keeps giving me an error message asking
for SKU011.cab.

Is there a way to remove the software without the Disks?

.....Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi SKU011.cab

When MO2003 has been installed, it creates an installing folder called
MSOCache, often at another drive, if it has not been choosen not to.
If its there, some where, you can install from that folder.
If it's not there, I guess you are lost with no other possibilities than a
new install through the network server, or by buying a new CD.

You could try, but it might go wrong, copying all the files from the Office
folder, and then, by some weeks handwork, manually change all the settings in
the registry. There shoud be several hundreds pointing to the original
installed drive.
Some registry toys can do that automaticly.
