Office 2003 Small Business Edition

After upgrading from Office XP to Office 2003 Small
Business Edition, I cannot get the Office shortcut bar to
open. Also, in the new version of Outlook, the
send/receive button does not show up even when I enter
new email addresses. When originally installing, it
brought my email address and address book over from
Outlook Express. The send/receive was showing and then I
removed an old email address and since then it does not
show on the toolbars.

Anyone having this problem? I looked on the knowledge
base and I'm not finding anything at the present.

Hi Marian,

On the Shortcut Toolbar -

The Office shortcut bar (OSB) was discontinued.
If you upgraded Office 2003 over Office XP
it may still be there (try using Start=>Run
and typing MSOffice.exe )

If it's not there there are several possibilities:

- You can use a custom install of Office XP and
install that edition's shortcut bar, using it 'as is',
or

- You can right click on the Windows Taskbar and create
a new toolbar, drag the shortcuts you want onto it
from the taskbar and tear it off, size and position it
on your desktop, or

- You can use a 3rd party toolbar such as this free one:
