Office 2003 Software Key Lost

I got a nice opy of Office 2003 when I attended a Microsoft showcase. However my kids have trashed the packaging to the [point where I can't read the key from the box. So is there a way I can get this again either from Microsoft or even pulling it from the registry? If from the registry - where do I look?

But if you didn't buy the software in the first place, they may not offer a
replacement key.
