Office 2003 SP-1 can't update - office source engine error

I can't install the SP-1 update from the website or from
the full file that I downloaded.
I am running a windows 2000 server operating system and am
only installing this software on the server.
The Office 2003 installation was an upgrade to my office
2000 that had worked fine previously.
I have uninstalled the office 2000 program and re-
installed my office 2003 program twice, and it has not
helped.
The error message is "Office source engine error -214702473

Can anyone help me?
