Office 2003 SP 2

I cannot get the SP 2 for Office 2003 to install. I have tried it different
ways. The install is "unsuccessful". Of course have the items listed for SP
2 doesn't have anything to do with my Office applications. Like the item for
updating dictionary etc for french; an update for tablet pc where I don't
have or need one; etc. Do I need this update? And how can I be sure the
parts that do apply have already been updated? If I don't need it, then how
do I get the needed updates to not show it?
