Office 2003 SP-3 -- Any Problems??

Like a couple of other users, I've been given notification for Office 2003
SP-3, which will take me hours! Has anyone here had any negative results
due to the update? All OK with those who've done it? If it's not
problematic, I guess I'll take the plunge. Comments please. Thanks.

I have done it on two computers with no problems.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, Tom. I needed to hear that. Any others
out there?

Actually, I just posted that the update seems to have brought my machines to
a grinding halt. The install went without a hitch, but now I can't have my
outlook running in the system tray the way I used to.

Thought you should know since you (unlike me) were smart enough to ask
before installing.

Thanks for the info. Since we don't use Office 2003 "that much" perhaps it
would be good just to leave it alone. If you find that something else is
causing your slowed down system, please let us know. BTW, is your
installation on a Vista machine or XP?

No problems here at work (yeah, risky) with Excel and Outlook so far. I
only used them for a few minutes though.

Office SP3 disables hyperlinks in Office 2003 e-mail messages; i.e. selecting
a hyperlink in an Office 2003 e-mail activates IE7 with the default web page
from the browser.

Essentially, you have to type in the URL which is not easy considering that
most URLS are quite large.

Big problems:

For instance, in Access 2003, I have a Combo box in a form with one of the
columns formatted Yes/No (the table the data comes from is also yes/no data).
When the Combo Box was dropped-down, the column correctly showed "Yes" or
"No"...until I installed Office 2003 SP3. Now, the column shows "-1" or "0"
now matter that the format property is set to "Yes/No".
