Office 2003 SP1 Fail to install

Hi i can't install the office 2003 service pack 1 -
english version after many attempts, it basically just
would install and will only indicate sp1 failed to install
after many tries. I'm using xp home and have the office
professional 2003 installed. I tried the recommended Full
file version also, but still not successful. please help.

Try an uninstall and then reinstall, then update.

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
