During an attempt to install the Office 2003 SP1 I am asked for the
SKU015.cab file. This file does not exist on my installation CD. Has anyone
ny ideas on what to do?

Hi, Walt_G:

See if this helps:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;875556. This is a
request for the CD when the \MSOCache folder is not fully intact.

For some background, there are several scenarios that can cause this error
to occur ...
- When initially installing an Office 2003 product, the Local Install
Source detection returns a maximum free disk space of under 2.0 GB. So only
a partial LIS is created (only those CABs necessary for the installation are
copied).
- There is a bug in Office 2003 RTM that will cause the removal of CABs
when an update is cancelled for some reason. This bug is fixed in SP1.
- The \MSOCache folder or some of its contents are manually removed.
