Office 2003 SP2 & 0x80042108 & 109

I've had problems with error codes 0x80042109 & 0x80042108 in Outlook. This
occured after I had installed the latest Office update (Update for Office
2003 SP2). Before the update was installed, all was OK with e-mail etc.
After installing I kept getting these errors. I restored my PC to a time
prior to installation and all was OK. The next night Auto-updates
automatically re-installed the Office 2003 SP2 update, and I had the same
problems again next day. So I again restored and all is now OK again. (I've
now changed my auto-update settings so I don't get this installed
automatically again overnight!).
Has anyone had these problems after installing this update recently???

Hi Maverick,

It sounds like you had Office 2003 SP2 install to completion
from your description? When are you seeing those two errors?

I got the errors when using Outlook after the Office 2003 SP2 had been
installed. I had no problems installing the update, in fact the update
auto-installed overnight the second time round. The update installed with no
apparent problems.
But after the update had been installed, when Outlook was sending &
receiving I got the error codes/messages.
