Office 2003 SP2 slows Outlook export

I have Office 2003 SBE SP1 running on Windows 2000 Pro SP4. When I upgraded
to Office 2003 SP2 an export of the Calendar to a pst file takes over 25
minutes, but it was less than 3 minutes before applying SP2. It is connecting
back to a Windows 2000 exchange server.

This also slows down the Synch of the Palm from 5 minutes to a whopping 90
minutes.

I have tested this on three machines. Prior to applying SP2 the export to
pst takes 3 minutes on all pcs, but after applying SP2 it takes over 25
miniutes on all pcs. I have uninstalled Office and reinstalled it (which was
a SP0) and the export again took about 3 minutes. Applied SP2 again and the
export takes over 25 minutes.

On a separate laptop with Office 2003 Pro I applied the SP2 and on this pc
only it still only took 3 minutes after SP3, but this is the only pc in the
office that worked.

Anyone with any ideas please help!!! The hotsync of the palm taking 90
minutes is unacceptable, and it is related to the export to pst speed. Fix
that and I am sure the palm sync will be fixed.
