Office 2003 Sp2 via GPO + Patch Mangament with WSUS

Hi, I have a problem with WSUS and Office 2003 SP2:

It seems that the Office 2003 SP2 Update within WSUS doesn't support an
Office 2003 Adminstrative Installation Point, WSUS says "not needed" to the
update...
I found out that an administrative installation point is NOT necessary to
support automatic software installation with GPOs, which I didn't know and
surprises me really. So I changed my installation method, removed the
adminstrative installation point (where an office 2003 sp1 slipstreamed
version exists) and copied the original Office 2003 files to the share for
the automated installation via GPO and created a new software package. So
far so good...

But: When the computers start up, the client side software extensions for
software installation try to uninstall the Office 2003 SP1 with 4 Updates
(which where installed automatically via WSUS) and it seems that Windows
tries to uninstall the UPDATES before uninstalling the main program Office
2003 SP1. 3 of the 4 updates are NOT uninstallable and so the uninstallation
fails.

On one PC I tried to uinstall office 2003 sp1 manually, rebootet, office
2003 sp2 was automatically installed, logged on, fired wuauclt /detectnow
and Sp2 was installed troublefree - so ma configuration is correct.

Now I need a method to automatically uninstall office 2003 sp1 from all the
other PCs! Any ideas?

Bernhard, Office 2003 SP1 is not uninstallable. It looke like you're working
in a corporate IT environment (Admin points and GPO deployment), please
contact PSS to help you, your issue seems pretty complex for this forum.
