I am unable to install SP2, anyone got a suggestion? I receive these error
messages
You cannot install an Office 2003 service pack - Microsoft Explorer.
The instruction at "0x62308d19" referenced memory at "0x01f53d04". The
memory could not be "read" Click on OK to terminate the program

Have you run a Ram diagnostic tool, to check if you've got any memory errors?
The set-up programs often use significantly more memory than you use in
normal day to day running so if you've got memory addresses that sometimes
fail under stress this could be the issue.

Try doing a repair install, then try the update again:

Method 1 – Open Word, go to Help – Select Detect and Repair

or use Method 2 -

1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
2. Click Add or Remove Programs.
3. Click the Office program that you want to repair, and then click Change.
4. In the Maintenance Mode Options dialog box, click Reinstall or Repair,
and then
click Next.
5. In the Reinstall or Repair Office dialog box, click Detect and Repair
errors in my
Office installation, and then click Install.
6. When the repair process is finished, run the update again.

Most likely you will need to have your Office CD handy.

I went to www.download.com, searched for office 2003, found the service pack
there in a single 49 meg file. I downloaded the file, put my Office 2003
disk in the appropriate drive, started the installation program. When I
returned 10 minutes later, it was done! And that's after trying to use the
update webpage repeatedly without success!

Good luck.
