There has not been a service pack issued for Office 2003 yet. So you might be waiting a l_o_n_g time.

Hi Craig,

For MS Office, Microsoft issues major updates as Service Releases (SR)
and Service Packs (SP). A Service Release is available as both a
'patch' set and as a full replacement CD set for the Office product
with the update (SR) built in. Service Packs are 'patch only' updates
and are availble for download http://office.microsoft.com
or by ordering Patch CDs from Microsoft.

The last Office version to have a Service Release, unfortunately,
was Office 2000, and that would be SR2, and Office 2000 is no longer
a current retail store product.

duh. Good catch! (Office XP is at SP 3 level, not Office 2003 ... I
should have known).

Craig--

Bob Buckland explained clearly a difference between SRs and SPs with respect
to Office I've wondered about for a long time. Thanks Bob. SP3 for Office
XP 2 is available here:

If you're talking about Microsoft Office Systems 2003 (Office 2003) screen
shots of an SP1 have been leaking to the web for months, and in conjunction
with an annoucement about One Note SP1 whose Beta is available now for
download, MS announced a MOS 2003 SP1 tentatively slated for a June 2004
release:

http://www.wininsider.com/news/?6630

There has as always, and MS probably enjoys the buzz, been speculation on
when and what the next full version of Office will be in conjunction with
the daily shifting sands of the Longhorn OS:

You will always have no trouble finding out about a new SP for a version if
you just go to the Office web site or look at the titles of this group's
threads.
