Office 2003 SP3 Update won't install

Just rescently my computer attempted to download and install the Office 2003
SP3 Update. When Windows XP attempted to install the update an error message
appeared iin the Microsoft IE window stating that the update failed to
install. What could cause this to happen and what can I do to get the update
installed? Please reply ASAP.

Go to the Microsoft download site, search for and then download the file:
Office2003SP3-KB923618-FullFile.exe - then try the update again.

I could not get SP3 installed. kb304498 did help. thank you TaurArian.
unfortunately, I had to make my way through every step before the install
worked. oh, well.
