When I click on edit in datasheet I get an error "The list is displayed in
Standard view. It cannot be displayed in Datasheet view for one or more of
the following reasons: A datasheet component compatible with Windows
SharePoint Services is not installed, your browser does not support ActiveX
controls, or support for ActiveX controls is disabled." i've tried
reinstalling the sharepoint tools via add remove programs in Office 2003.
Other people in the office have a similar problem but don't get the error
message it just goes back to the same screen they started at, with others it
works fine. The only thing I can think has caused this is Office 2003 Service
pack 3. can microsoft release a new patch to sort this problem out.
